So I just spent the last few hours trying to learn about German dialects. Except, since I can barely understand it anymore, my brain feels a little fried...(Btw, Latin and Greek basically destroyed my German grammar, which is ironic since English is a word-order language like German, and unlike Latin. I was thinking about influences to my artwork, and I thought about the illustrated novels we have around our house. They're mostly classics, like A Christmas Carol. And I remembered a particular edition of Peter Pan, and how big of an influence those illustrations had on me.

So I promised some time ago to upload pictures from my trip. I have one problem: they were taken on my phone, which my computer isn't recognizing. I've heard it could be a problem with the HDMI cord. It occurred to me today that it's been nearly ten years since I entered the internet world.

It's 11 at night, and I should be sleeping. I have a one-day job at the gardening company that my mom works for, since one of the girls is going to the doctor and her boss happened to know that I'm free. I have to be up at 6 or so. But I'm not. I can't sleep; I've been getting to sleep at around 2 am lately, and it's just too early now.

So I'm rolling down to the end of my semester; I'm done in a week and a half. And I'm not required to take my Greek literature final, because I have an A in it. I decided that it would just be masochism to show up and take in anyway. The only dilemna this gives is that I have an exam on Wednesday, and my final two on the following Tuesday. Talk about procrastination, I have two papers and the introduction to a third due tomorrow. I've done research for one, have to edit the second, and haven't even thought of a subject for the third.

Part of the title comment has to do with school; I thought that my folklore class would be easy enough, even if it is a lot of reading. Basically, I'm reading a bunch of fairy tales. But it gets tedious after a while, since I know the stories already, but have to read it anyway to pick out the little differences, so I don't fail.
